On The Way Down

This kestrel seems to be taking an interest in a house sparrow colony that inhabits the local church bell tower.

The cataractus is covered in wild flowers at the moment; below, the yellow tuberous hawkbit; a member of the geranium family, Erodium malacoides; borage family - Anchusa aegyptiaca; Biscutella didyma; Veronica-cymbalaria;  and finally Salvia verbenaca, just a few of the plants to be seen on the way down to the harbour.
